String launchers cannot be played like the anime.  The engineering behind creating a launcher like the anime would be prohibitively expensive.  Please pull back no further than shoulder length and let it rip.  If the string is pulled too roughly to the end, the string may catch on the spring and break.  

The closest launcher to the anime would be the B-184 which has a very long string.  

Additionally, as with all dynamite battle launchers, please watch a youtube video to assemble and change modes on the launcher.  Please do not force parts together.
